Our Heart Chakra – let’s keep it optimised!
We can never feel any better about life than we feel about ourselves! If we do not feel good about ourselves, we will let our minds find many reasons that do not involve us, for why we feel the way we do or why life is not working for us. We may find ourselves blaming outside circumstances such as the past, relationships, family, work, etc. to help us justify these feelings.
When we realise that we are the common denominator in everything in our lives and that we have a choice as to how to respond to every situation – that is growth! Accepting ourselves the way we are right now, does not mean we do not want to change or move forward! We are all ‘learning on the job”!
It is an enormous personal growth event when we realise that we want to change, or when we admit to ourselves that we overacted in a situation, or said the ‘wrong’ thing to someone.

Heart Chakra location
Our Heart Chakra is associated with unconditional love starting with ourselves and centering ourselves in love gives our lives passion, purpose, and meaning. It is also concerned with forgiveness and compassion for ourselves and others, as well as feeling unity and peace with others. A balanced Heart Chakra is experienced by others as warm, inviting, and kind-hearted.
Balanced aspects of the heart chakra: sisterhood/brotherhood, unity, love, peace, purity, innocence, radiates warmth and sincerity, generosity, compassion, acceptance, and love of self, forgiveness, plus giving and providing unconditionally out of love.
Unbalanced aspects of the heart chakra: the actor/actress, conditional imitation of love expects recognition, challenge to accept love-even of self, indifference.
How to balance the heart chakra:
Affirmations: #1 ’Unconditional Love “ and #2 ‘Radiate Warmth and Sincerity’: repeat these affirmations at least twice daily for 2 to 3 weeks, as you want to re-train the subconscious mind, so it then becomes part of the conscious mind. Remember that your body believes everything you believe!
The heart chakra helps regulate: the thymus, heart, lungs, circulation, hands, shoulders, breasts, and is located in the middle of the chest.

Stones: rose quartz, pink topaz, tourmaline, green jade, green aventurine
